Hi , this sounds like my baby budgie aussie we have only had him around 7 weeks so he is about 3 months old , but it really sounds like he is making the clicking sound , wolf whistle and is saying good boy . I also think that this is really quick as our last budgie was around 5-6 months old before he started talking . I do spend time talking to him every day though , and even my husband says it does sound like he is talking . We shall just have to carry on and see what happens , maybe they are just quick learners jo

aussie had his first fly around the bedroom as we are in an old rental cottage with lots of beams so thought it would be safest , hope you enjoy the pics and that i have done them right , jo

Hi , no he will be kept on his own hoping he might talk as my last one did , i have only had him a week today and he has just done step up for the first time . he has settled in really well and is very playful .

Hello there , i have been visiting this web site for the last month while getting information before i got my new budgie . The site and everyone on here has been a great help ( without knowing it )and when i finally got my baby boy called aussie yesterday i had everything ready for him . He has settled in well already , he was very quiet last night but today has been eating and drinking and chirping . He has also played with the toys in the cage and explored his new surroundings and seems quite happy when i go up to talk to him . It is so good to have somewhere that you can go to and see that what aussie is doing is completely normal and the best way to help him settle in so thankyou for that and i shall carry on reading what everyone is up to and looking at the lovely photos that you all post ,Joanna
