If she is laying eggs it will be the male that is infirtile, if not laying eggs it the female infirtile.

It is to hard to tell what sex it is when they are that young, when they are about 3-4 months old you can tell the sex male blue beak female brown. hope this helps. I have been breeding Budgies for 37 years.
