Thought we could have a bit of fun and start a picture competition. who is the best photographer there is . . . . . . join in everyone and show your photos all budgies big and small 5 photos per person any one want to be the judge ?? have a go we are looking for a good photo of your bird not out of focus and blurry photos like without the bar of cages have fun

prob is i was only going to breed white based lacewings but could only get grey green / cocks although i did manage to pick up a white lacewing cock but havent yet recived still part of the comming together of the big plan lol so i decided if i can breed my own /lacewing grey cocks and white lacewing cocks blue based and then yellow based lacewing hens from some my /lacewing grey greens sounds good but.....we will see i really have no clue and am starting with one the hardest mutations to get spot one but hay i love a challange hey i have got a yellow lacewing spilt blue male so if i breed it to a blue cinnamon-wing hen i will get 50%lacewings hens 50%split lacewing cocks and 50%blue lacewings and 50%yellow lacewings but i will not get good blue lacewing and good yellow lacewings but lest i will have a line to sart of with and nubby breeds yellow to blue have a look at how she pairs up but she is tiring to get yellow i think any i do not think this makes cents

hey good hens with the grey hen if you have yellow lacewings do not breed a grey bird to tham but a grey-green or any green will be okay the grey is good with blue lacewing gust a tip but you may know this

So we know where this one got the blue dom pied genes from, but what about the yellow face? Is Mum carrying Yellowface or is dad a double factor YF? i do not no dave i will have to breed her to a normal blue male and breed him to a normal blue hen next time
