It is a full body greywing. In other words a combination of greywing & clearwing An ordinary greywing has diluted body colour and pale cheek patches

What Is This Type Of Budgie Called ?
He is a clearwing dark green. If the colours are right in the photo he could be carrying violet

How To Create A Rainbow Budgie?
Unless your spangle cock is split for clearwing you can't get a rainbow from him in one generation. Also a rainbow does not have the spangle mutation so you would be better to start with a non spangle. To produce rainbows it is necessary for the clearwing gene to come from both parents. A yellow face opaline blue cock that is split for clearwing mated to a clearwing hen would produce some rainbows

Double Factor?
If both parents are single factor violet about 25% of their chicks will be double factor violet, 50% single factor violet & 25% with no violet

A pet type lacewing that originally looked like an albino with dirt on her wings- Murphy's Law Of Budgie Breeding
I had a door that was slightly warped between two cages and thought it'll be alright they can't get through there. A young greywing hen stuck her head through and I found her dead in the morning. The door got fixed promptly after that Went into the aviary to catch a bird a lady wanted to buy, the budgies all came down thinking I had a treat for them. Couldn't find the bird I wanted until I picked up the cage - I'd put it down on the bird and killed it. Fortunately the buyer wasn't there I had one hang itself on a frayed rope perch. No more rope perches in my aviaries Had a double factor spangle cock who liked to perch on my shoulder. Walked out of the avairy without noticing he was there until he took off into the dark blue yonder. Never saw him again- 5 Chicks
Did you use a flash to take the photos? A flash makes the cere colour paler than it really is and the males look like females- Congrats To The August Bom Winner!
Congratulations - great photo- Should Be Nice When It Grows Up
Here she is grown up and hungry- What Colours Will I Get ?
Assuming the cock is single factor violet and not split for opaline & the hen is single factor grey & there are no other hidden mutations 25% single factor violet normal 25% single factor grey normal 25% normal blue 25% violet grey normal The shades will vary depending on the dark factors of your pair- New Baby
The cheek patches are slightly coloured so it could be a cinnamon spangle (provided it is female). I have seen double factor spangles with this much suffusion but they usually have white cheek patches- Combination Pieds
Normally I would agree that a test mating should be done to verify the combination but in this bird the 2 mutations are very obvious. The first chick in the clutch looks like a combination to me but it would need to be test mated to be absolutely sure. Having bred a lot of pieds I do not have any trouble identifying the different types- New Budgies
I have difficulty understanding how breeders can be confused with dominant & recessive pieds. I have bred so many that they look totally different to me- New Budgies
The first one's pied type is dominant not recessive. The way the body colour is distributed shows that it is dominant pied- Help With These Guys/girls?
1/ Opaline grey male 2/ Yellow face recessive pied violet male 3/ Yellow face cobalt female 4/ Opaline cinnamon recessive pied male 4/ Double factor dominant pied male (it is possible that this is a dominant pied & recessive pied combination)- Dommie Or Clearflighted Pied?
You would only get dark eyed clears if it was a clearflight pied split to recessive pied. To get dark eyed clear the recessive pied gene must come from both parents- Lacewings
Here are a couple. They have red eyes & cinnamon wing markings- Cinnamon Opaline Dark Green
Violet is a colour adding factor that comes in both single and double factor. It can be added to any shade of any colour including blue, green, albino, lutino, etc. Green oplaine cinnamons are quite common. I'm sure someone will find a picture for you- Congratulations To May Budgie Of The Month Winner!
Great picture. Congratulations- Dilute?
She has bright body colour and bright cheek patches, might be a full body colour greywing- Opaline. Or Not Opaline.
A front view would show the pied type- Opaline. Or Not Opaline.
With the flight feathers cut off and no front view it is hard to be sure but I think your bird is an opaline dominant pied. A dominant pied without opaline would have more barring on the head and neck area. If it was a recessive pied opaline would still be a possibility but not as definite- Colours Of These 3 Birds?
The 2nd chick looks like a grey green. What was the mother? - Before And After Budgie Photos
