Fine! ..Maybe he didn't get bitten.. just crawled on. He was scratching the place the spider was on him like crazy afterwards though.. so here's hoping.

Mango seems okay. He's not fluffed up or shaking or anything just yawns. I will have a look at the tea. I'm just not sure If I should be giving him anything. Mango is the more flighty of the two birds and still won't let us near him. I'm afraid i'll stress him more. I could try putting it in their drinking water though.

Just got off the phone to a vet, they said not to bring him in and to keep him warm and in a dark place. The vet said all that they could do was give an anti inflammatory and that it often stresses the bird.. so for now just let him sleep because most of the time they're fine. I really hope he's okay.

Mango our little yellow budgie we think was bitten by a female red back spider. We're not sure what to do as it's 6pm and all the vets will be closed. Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Yup, mango has red eyes. They've already found out the joys of millet. I was wondering about the feathers.. I knew i should have taken them to the vet instead of getting them clipped in the store. I guess i'll ask him to do it when I get them checked up.

We miss our pidgey.. but I saw these two in a pet store I went into, (yes I know), and I just had to get them. They seemed to be quite close so I just couldn't separate them and ended up getting both. The blue green one with the yellow face is called Mochi and the cremino is called mango. If anyone wants to hazard a guess at the mutations in mochi.. be my guest because I don't know where to start! If I had to guess i'd say mochi is a male and mango could also be male..but..since everyone is so much better than I am at telling sexes i'll see what you all think .

lol we named him birdman my sisters idea and we've been calling it that for almost two weeks now so I guess we'll let my mother rename it since she insisted it was a hen.

Oh dear it turns out my mother was correct and I was wrong I suppose we'll have to rename it now

Hi everyone! I was wondering if you could help us tell what gender our new baby budgie is. hehe as you can see it likes perching on my keyboard, in fact it likes any type of keyboard and will fly down to sit on it. It's currently walking around nibbling my fingers as I type. We called it birdman but now we're not too sure it's a he . Thanks for your help!
