  1. Hi, I'm new to this please be patient. I have 2 breeding pairs in large aviary. So far they've each raised 9 chicks and now there's another 9 coming! One hen is getting very thin and I'd like to separate males from females but she's already laying the next clutch while feeding the current hatchlings. If I remove the nest box will she get eggbound? Will the female raise the chicks alone, therefore enabling me to remove the males? I dont want another clutch at the moment and the female needs to recuperate for a while I think. Please help Thanks, Sunny
  2. Hi I'm new to this so here goes......I didnt mean to breed my birds but they had other ideas. The hen has been sitting on 2 eggs for about 2 weeks. There was too much interest from the 3 other birds this morning so I removed them to their own cage. Is this correct? Also another 2 have decided to begin breeding but there is no next box in the aviary. Will they still breed if there's no box? I'm not sure I really want them to breed. Thanks.,
