  1. Thanks for the reply! It was great to watch so funny a feeding frenzy.
  2. Today I watched my babie Budgies, that are now 6 weeks old feed each other. They took turns feeding after one was fed 15 mins later the one that was fed was feeding the one that was doing the feeding is this a normal thing for babies to do ?
  3. Do you think dad will be fine with moving the box and keep up feeding?
  4. Me again! The reason im posting the picture is because today, I have had one of the babies jump out of the box, the nesting box it's up high in the cage and he had no chance of getting himself back in the box. There is two more following close behind ! I'm wondering if its a good idear to place them in a shoe box on the bottom of the cage so they can explore the cage. If they feel like it.But if i was to do that! will dad keep up the job feeding? The youngest one of the four still really needs to be fed by dad. And I wont be able to keep a eye on them I will be away from home 10 to 12 hours a day over the next few days. What should I do?

Very Nice I love the grey !
  6. I have been putting a thick layer of Millet spray in the box and cleaning it every second day. They all seem to enjoy having a peck at it and its seems to working for there poopy feet keeping them much cleaner.
  7. The poop is a problem I have done the warm water thing with them but they put up a terrible fight. After I cleaned them a few days back I put them back in the cage. Dad was so stressed he jumped into the nesting box and didnt come out for a hour, after that anytime out went near the cage he jumped in the box as if to say leave my kids alone he did that all day long.

  12. Dad seems to be doing well. Im going to get him a new mate this week I hope. He is doing a great job feeding the chicks he has been voted father of the year in my house. I have a few pics of the other 2 I will post them in a few mins they just didnt turn out as good as i would have liked.
  13. They have black eyes! Mum escaped on me last week! But she was a sky blue with white greyish wings I think you call it a fish scale pattern.
  14. I tried to get some better pictures today when I cleaned the nesting box. The pictures of the 2 oldest chicks didnt turn out. I think im going to keep the yellow one he or she seems to be the friendliest one out of the four. Its the first time he has sat still for me! He is very flighty!
