she has five eggs and she was incubating them for 13 days...could you tell me if they will be alright and i know she was off them for the whole night because i went out when it was dark and she was roosting on a branch and the next morning i went out for feeding and she was just waking up when i went out but when she filled her stomach she went back to the eggs??? will they be okay?? she has 5 eggs and she has been incubating for 13 days now ??

my budgie left her eggs she was incubating for one night will the babys inside be alright or would they have died from being left that long??please reply i have to find out wethere there okay or wether there not :mellow:

thanks norm im actually colony breeding so the eggs from marge was a surprise as this is her first clutch this season she has never been egg bound before except that once so i hope she will be alright thanks for the reply???

hi everyone marge has started to lay but on her first egg she was eggbound but a lubricant done the job..her second egg was laid 2 days later but the third egg was a week after the second is this a problem cause all my other budgies never waited that long to lay there 3rd egg?? shortcuts Please do not use shortcut language as per forum rules

hi im new to aviary breeding and i would like to get a few tips...i have had my birds in my aviary for some time now and they are all starting to pair up... my pair of birds that has paired has been checking out all the different nestboxes but when they do all the other birds seem to get jealous and fly over and see what there doing is this normal behaviour??? also is it better to put shavings in the nest boxes or leave them out...i zould really like if i got some tips thanks..???

i have 14 birds in an aviary and out of 14 there are 4 pairs but the cocks that arent paired in the aviary i think are starting to pair up with each othere there feeding and preening each othere is this normal behaviour or are they gay lol

in an outdoor aviary but were nearly into summer and the weather has been good the last two weeks so you any more advice

hi there is 8 budgies in the avairy but there is only 2 pairs Welcome, First of all how old are they? and are they in breeding condition? Are you sure that the are a Male and Female as some mutations A male can be mistaken for a female .......There are a lot of information in the FAQ in this forum to read first before thinking about breeding and getting them into tip top Health prior to breeding to have a read thru first an see if you have everything up to scratch.A budgie will and can breed all yer round AS LONG AS THE CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT - Plenty of fesh seed, water and greens daily a safe place to breed ....Good luckyes they are about 2 years old and they are paired up nad in tip top health because i didnt breed them in the last 10 months so they are in great condition and they are supplied with nest boxes and cuttlefish and everything...so i have everything they need....

i have budgies in an aviary and out of my budgies i have 2 pairs hey have nest boxes a proper diet cuttlefish iodine block everything they need but they wont breed is there any way i can stimulate my budgies to breed i really want a few new baby budgies to join the rest of my group??
