    Hi. I do have millet hanging on the side of the cage. I also have seed in a shallow bowl at the bottom of his cage. He's fully feathered cause he can fly short distances but is not resisting being hand fed. He cracks seed sometimes but not very often. thanks Maria

    HI. we have a baby budgie we were hand raising. My step daughter is a new breeder and mother budgie stopped feeding this one. He is doing great, accept that he is about 7 weeks old and doesn't seem interested in eating much seed. We still have him on 2 feeds of formula a day because if we don't feed, he looks unwell and doesn't pick up until we feed him. any tips on how to wean him? should I be worried ?he flies about and seems very happy and healthy.
