Hi All, Hope some one can give me some advice on our two budgies (Frisky & Kiki). Firstly Frisky is around 6 1/2 years old and Kiki is about a year and a half, both males. When we first got Kiki Frisky was frightened of him but eventually mellowed out. But now we have a problem with Kiki chasing Frisky everywhere and stressing Frisky out. Kiki tries to bang beaks all the time with Frisky so Frisky has started to peck Kiki back which calms Kiki down for a little while but then keeps at it. They are both nice birds and friendly towards us. They both share the same cage and we let them fly around the house in daytime and they sleep on separate swings at night. It seems to us that Kiki might have too much Testosterone and thinks Frisky is a hen! Any ideas how to cope with this problem?

Hi Sweetpea, Our Frisky has had a few moults in the past, but he doesn't get grumpy, just less energetic, eats more and rests a lot more. They get over it and bounce back to their loveable selves.

Hi All...Just posting some more pictures of Frisky & Kikki...... Kikki has been with us for 3 weeks now and is slowly fitting in...still a little timid, but certainly brightens up the place. Keith.

Hi Jodie, Thank you for your kind reply, Kikki looks a little dosile sitting on top of their home...but believe me he is full of beans most of the time...chasing Frisky around and tiring him out. We think he is a male as he has started to talk already, i'll post some more pictures of them soon. cheers, Keith.

Hi All...havent been here for Quite a while, just thought I'd post a couple of pictures of Kikki & Frisky. We have had Frisky for 5 years now and thought we would get him a friend to keep him company and picked this 8 week old male budgie.(Hopefully) Kikki... Frisky inside & Kikki on top of cage... They seem to be getting along alright & Frisky has been a good fellow sharing his food and millet with him. Cheer's, Keith & Roger.

Hi Kaz, Naomi & Elly Iv'e been trying to get some video of Frisky talking, but he gets a little camera shy so I'll have to set some thing up that he can get used to. He tends to talk more with some background noises gonig on especially while we doing the dishes. Cheer's, Keith

Hello All, It's been a while since I visted...It's our "Frisky's" 3rd Birthday today (3/4/2010) he's having a ball, millet all day!!!
