Taumei was outside with his Pa, who was preoccupied with something else, and Taumei desided it would be great to do what dad does and take the pegs off and lift the cage doors up... he opened them and then just stood back and watched... His Grandma went off screaming out to Pa saying, "James is going to kill you!!! James is going to kill you!!! Shut the Gate!!! I laugh now but if they had of escaped... hmmm I don't think so... needless to say tomorrow I'm buying some tiny padlocks...

LILBABYBUDGIES you can buy split rings from some petshops if you want to keep track of who is related to who (so that you don't inbreed) but if you are just starting out it should be pretty easy to keep track... mainly just for when you get a few pairs going I think...

Well I only just found out about this because I am not a member of a club so please bare with me... In Daz's Aviary forum there was a question about rings asked and it caught my eye... I asked about it and was told that the year had been changed from starting 1 Jan to 1 September... Does anyone know why they did this and are we in 2009 now or 2008?? I'm a bit confused...
