doh!

Hi all, Its me again :hap: I posted a bit back concerning the gender of my Zeus (he/she is now about 12 weeks old). I have posted some new pictures, I think Zeus is more female at this point in time, however he/she is singing more and is more active. My housemate has put a bet down on what Zeus will be, he thinks male, I think female. Thanks everyone for your lovely comments Yes Conan is quite the character, but I still think its strange how he still chooses to come and play with me/sit on my shoulder rather than play with Zeus. He has started mimicking Zeus though :yellowhead: Will post more pictures of Zeus soon. He/she still has the black eyes and bars, but I see no "distinct" white rings around the nares(it is paler there though)-however, Zeus's behavior points more towards female at the moment-Zeus does sing, but not too often, he/she chews alot of the time and tends to stay in one spot rather than play with toys, but I guess he/she could still be settling in :bluebudgie: thanks again, -Sarah

Hi all! while I am waiting the two weeks until I retake pictures of Zeus (still unsure if he/she is male or female) I will introduce my naughty Conan, whom I've had for one and a half years. I've included some pictures below. When I bought him here in Perth, Western Australia he was the bully in the cage of baby budgies-so I bought him as I thought he would have personality. He loves to sing all day every day, even when he sleeps, he loves having baths and talks nonsense words, like "fish fish" and "naughty bababa." The good thing is, he never bites, and adores people (he thinks he is human, so I have to put out a plate of food for him when I serve dinner) He's the love of my life and even though I just got the new budgie Zeus, he still prefers to hang with me, which is odd thanks for all the help so far with everything, this is a wonderful forum:) -Sarah

Hi he/she had some fluff stuck to his/her nose. I plan on letting the new baby grow his/her wings back too. I would love it if the baby is a boy, as I would like to teach him to talk just like Conan does. But even if it is a girl I will love her/him all the same

Hi all I just joined this forum as it looks like an awesome resource for budgie information. I just purchased a new baby budgerigar from a small bird shop to keep my other budgie Conan company. I have been told that he/she is a light green spangle, and is 10weeks old. I'm not too sure waht the gender is yet, I will post some images and see what everyone thinks. Thanks all!
