Thank you - i will definitely try the library for ideas - i hadn't even thought to look there as we wanted to buy him his own book. I know nothing about breeding budgies, but my husband used to breed them when he was a child (starting at about 7 until his mid-teens) and he will be hands on with his son through the process, but we just wanted to get him his own book as he has expressed a keen interest...... i'm sorry if you guys think he's too young........

Hi - i am looking for a book about anything & everything to do with budgies, inlcuding breeding, for my 7 year old step-son. Does such a book exist specifically for children?? Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks Susan
