My budgie has started to land on the edge of my plate while i'm eating and he pinches the crumbs of the bread.The bread is malted wholemeal. Will this do him any harm?More often than not its in the form of toast. The bits he get has no butter on anything else on it. Thank You

I've found a mix that my bird really enjoys. Its 1 hardboiled egg (20mins) broccalli,carrot and green beans put through a food proccesor. My question is, how often is it okay to feed this to him?

Being 100% wheat and no additives,I was think if I could use as follows? 1 Egg (whisked) Whatever fruit & veg you want Then break down Shredded Wheat with rolling pin or the like. Mix all together and bake accordingly.

Well,when I first got my bird it was on the understanding of my daughter (21) that I called him "Roy". So,Roy it is,but theres one thing wrong with that now. The bird was bought as a "boy" but since I've put pics on here I've been told He's a She. But he/she is still Roy........

Would a mix of Musli and seed mixed together and then add a teaspoon of honey mixed together again then spread across a pinecone be a viable idea?

I used the flash on both of the previous pics but it was just that I "stood" close to her o one and the other one I used the "zoom" on the camera......

Not as many as the last couple of weeks though...

As far as the chirping etc goes she still seems a bit on the quiet side,not that i'm sure what the norm is..... As for eating the only veg I got her to eat at the moment is the mini corns and petit pois (snow peas I think) But she's okay with sitting on my finger or shoulder,even when I'm walking around the flat..... Then of course she also waits until she see's me on the PC,like now,and decides to land on my head... As youv'e probably guessed she's out of the cage nearly all day....... Trying to get her used to the new gmy thing I bought her..... Thats all for now... :hap:

Just to make sure what? I'm not sure what you are asking? How long have you had him/her for? Is she settling in to your home? A final confirmation of what youv'e already told me...... I've had her for about six months now and seems well settled.

As for the (Rescue bird) That might be misleading... I took it from a person who was neglecting it,no food or water etc...... Not an officialy a resue home....

Just had a look at ring and theres one number that goes "around" the ring and a number reading downward which says 05,so I'm assuking he was born in 2005.

There is a ring on one of the legs,I'll have to get a look later......

This is a rescue budgie I got so I dont know anything about,so if someone can tell me please the breed,sex and age.

I use a aerosol deoderant,(in bathroom) but could the effects of it as budgie sits on my shoulder a lot of the time do him any harm?

My bird is going through a moult at the moment and I noticed he is a lot quiter then usual... is there any connection between the two of them?
