Hi, I'm not a budgie owner but I decided to buy my Mum a budgie for Christmas which I did yesterday. I plan to budgiesit the budgie until Christmas next week. In the meantime, I've noticed budgie (he hasn't been named yet) seems to be double-jointed. When he climbs onto the sides of the cage he somehow pulls his head then his body through his legs without moving his feet. Is this normal? He didn't do this when we went to select a bird. When Mum used to keep budgies when we were kids I don't remember any of them doing this. And I've never noticed anyone else's budgies doing this. Should I be worried or have I bought a talented bird? Your input would be most appreciated.
