they only learn nice words in our house, my youngest child is 2 so my oldest have to watch what they say because she repeats everything. Tweety my pet budgies talks to the other budgies so he will probably be teaching them to talk . they had their first play together last night, Tweety and Runt tried to play with them but they decided it was more fun to chase and tried to bite Tweety so Tweety spent freetime sitting on my shoulder talking to me.

you have such beautiful budgies Kaz,i love the way Zebedee's daughters violet colouring goes up to the back of her head. how do those markings occur, my budgies have just black bars on the back of there heads.

they arrive this morning and i have them till monday , it will be great to see how much they have grown.i dont mind the vacumning, it is worth it when you see how much they love their free time. i had to shake all these pin feathers off my pillow last night before i went to bed.

my birds in the aviary sleep tucked up even in the hot weather but the ones inside never sleep that way. i think my birds sound like Charley, they are in the loungeroom were my kids play and they do not like to miss whats going on.

i will be thinking of you on monday and pray that the baby is settle for you. my 4 year old went to preschool yesterday and i could not imagine how i would cope if something happened to him when i was not with him.

hi and welcome to the forum. how old is Grumpy now? one of my handraised babies started biting me when she was going through her first moult, she was 12 weeks old when she started biting me.

Henry is my oldest boy, he is 7 years old so not as old as Whitie. He was my first budgie and he started my love for budgies. he is bigger than my other budgies so i have always wondered is he a show budgie or just a big pet budgie.

i am so excited, my friends are going away this weekend and have asked me to look after their budgies which happen to be 2 of the 4 i handraised.i sold them 6 weeks ago and i still miss them, they are the only budgies i have handraised so it will be nice to have them for the weekend.i have not seen them since i sold them.i am hoping Runt remembers his brother and sister and play nice.

i am so sorry to hear about Archer and your grandfather, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

i have just bought a new cage on ebay for Tweety and Runt, it is 91cm high,74cm wide and 46cm deep. i hope that will be big enough for them. i know it is still more taller than wider but most of the cages seem to be that way. i also woke up this morning to little blue feathers all over my floor so Runt must be moulting. i have to wait for deliverer now.it only cost me $72 and it is brand new.
