Nope I am just getting that e-mails saying to buy a Russin bride and I deleted them and now I am getting e-mails telling me my russin bride is on her way to and send information to X Y & Z and she will be at the airport soon. I also get a BUNCH about tablets to help my family by being able to last longer in bed... Were the Russian brides any good AV...? I've been thinking about getting me some of those.... They keep telling me they are on their way but so far no one has shown up Hmmm, disappointing...... guess I'd best look elsewhere then .....

Gets dirty just the same but keeps the seed debris in the cage. Sliding it sideways means I can change the paper, change the food, and also vacuum the bottom of the cage with little fuss. Vacuum the bottom of the cage!!! Suppose you'd want to be careful doing that!! :hug:

I think it will be as simple as the fact that they have been cooped up in a small sale cage for some time, you mentioned some months!! I think they will be fine with some encouragement, ie force them to fly for food etc. Start small and work up. I reckon they're just out of condition! :hug:

I guess the whole YF1/YF2/GF thing complicates things here! Can anyone explain how I've ended up with this white based chick from YF2 (GF?) parents? I know about double factor YF1 producing a visually white faced bird, however, I thought any chicks from 2 YF2 birds would be yellow......? I get extremely confused about the whole business!!

Guess we're missing something, or require more test breeds. Just on the test breed issue, if they were to go another round now, do you think they'd be okay in terms of the weather.....I'm in Adelaide....they're outside....or should I put them back in the avairy for a while, until it warms up?

Dad Mum The one and only chick!! There is quite a lot of blue coming through at the base of her back and on the front, it's just covered up by all the down, maybe sky blue... My guess is that despite how the photo of the mum looks (yf2 sky blue), I'm guessing she is actually a light green recessive pied, split blue, and the cock is a golden face opaline dominant pied + clearflight pied cobalt. Chick looks opaline dominant pied + clearflight pied sky, any other guesses
