How Do I Introduce New Birds Into The Aviary?
I agree with MB and Chrissy, I also put birds straight into the aviary after quarantine. As already mentioned it is best to do it in the morning of a day where you can watch them. 99% of the time new birds are accepted into the flock by the existing birds.

Pairing / Bonding
I do both. Sometimes if see a bonded pair in the aviary, i let them stay together. Other times i will split them up. It's just up to you who you want to breed together. If you put young birds together (without a box) they will bond closely. Most budgie pairs will bond closely when together - some will take over night and others will take weeks to months to get into each other.

Beak Much!
I thought scaly face too - but if she is an 08 its very severe and fast progressing - it would take a fair bit of time for scaly face to get that bad. Actually, could it be deformed like that from having food stuck under the beak while in the nest?? Can you give a clearer photo please
