  3. i cant see the photos either Splat  Sounds awesome!!! just in time for Dave's arrival
  4. I agree with Kaz
  5. They will all be green. Green is dominant and unless a bird is split for blue (had a blue parent) then their chicks will always be green. Green to green = green If you want blue you need to buy some blues and breed with them .
  6. I think you could fit around 6- 10 in there. cool aviary
  7. A bun in the oven

  13. He may have been nipped by your hen. I agree with Daz in treating it - you can also use betadine too
  14. He looks to be a Yellow Face type 2 (YF2) Sky blue opaline to me. YF2 means the yellow from the face bleeds though to the body feather. he is very handsome too
  15. Yes you would get Dominant pied spangles. i wouldn't have a clue if they look like Bibble though

  17. I agree with Daz Greens are cocks and YF blues are hens
  18. Chrissy, We don't want you to leave. I know Kaz personally. She is a lovely gentle soul ( who will get all embarrassed reading this hehe) and has a brilliant scene of humour and wouldn't hurt a hair on a fly's back. There is no way she was doing anything other than trying to help you and your birds out like the rest of us. None of us want to see anything bad happen. Don't feel we are attacking you. That's not what we do. When we see something, its our duty to warn of possible problems. We cant make you do anything, we are just trying to let you know that there may be issues with the younger (immature) birds as they don't seem developed enough to breed. If we didn't say anything and you came back in 5 weeks time posting about all the troubles you would potentially be having, i would not be able to sleep at night knowing that i saw and issue and didn't warn you about it before it could be prevented. I hope that all makes sense.....

Hello and welcome! You have a lovely family - they have such pretty colours It's great to have you here
  20. She is not very old either, so may not have developed one yet. A close up of her eye/s will determine for sure
  21. My advice to you is to not breed with (at least) these two pairs as they are visibly too immature at the moment. Even if they are over 12 months, the severe lack of iris rings suggests that their development has been delayed and they are still not mature enough to breed - they must be late bloomers. 12 months is just an average. Some budgies have to wait until 18 months) Anyway, that's just my educated recommendation to you.
  22. She is a YF2 sky blue double factor dominant pied
  23. Gorgeous photos and babies
  24. :fear  so funny Kaz!!! I love coming on here too (which is pretty obvious :fear ) It me it keeps my brain active and i love learning new things and all the new friends that have been made are just beautiful
