My Lilly is a spangle with true markings (but no spots) - I have plans to breed this girl to keep the markings as pure as possible, perhaps even improve them

Looks like a lovely cage. I have seen that exact cage in our local Ned's store - i don't know the price though. Do you have Ned's in VIC too?? I have my Cookie, Scooter and Latte in this cage. cost $80 (with stand) from my local petshop

In the aviary, mine all hang on the wire at the front to sleep - they fight over who gets the highest spot. To me this would be the coldest, windiest and most uncomfortable spot in the aviary, so i don't get why they do it

Thanks. At eye level she looks green, but when i take photos the blue shows through so i would agree that she is a YF2. I was really hoping she would be a green as i don't have ANY green birds at all, they are all YF2's !!! Oh well. She is lovely and I really love her deep markings.

Hey, thanks guys!! :hap: Sorry i didn't get back sooner - My internet provider had a wide spread 'crash' over all of SA last night and it has only JUST come back on line When i saw her in the shop i knew she looked special. She is a nice size too (for a pet type) and i plan to breed with her next year :hap: I will have to work out a partner for her to ensure her true markings are passed on :hap:
