I am lazy when it comes to food (my hubby is the cook of the house :hap: ) so my birds get (very) roughly chopped fruit and veg; eg, I would cut a carrot in 1/4's and an break off whole brocoli heads hehehe. They have no troubles eating it... so its up to you how you want to present your food. They wont send it back to the kitchen complaining about the presentation, promise

I let my guys fly for a week or two when their flight feathers grow back after a moult - then i re clip their wings - this seems to keep them in tone. Some birds who have always been clipped from a very young age, will never fly as they are so use to us moving them around instead. AV gave you great advice on how to teach her to fly again - keep us posted Also a really short wing clip will prevent any lift when she flaps her wings. Let all her flights grow back and see how she goes

Mine love grass. I pick it in the early morning and give it to them roots, dirt and ALL - just make sure you are vigilant with worming if you give soil though - THEY LOOOOOOVE SOIL!!
