  1. Correct - she is unlikely to talk (but it can happen in rare cases)
  2. She is fine It would be the cage that is causing most of the problems. No mutants - No Mental illness - just a wrong cage. Pet shops are to blame for these bad cages They should know better!!
  3. Thought so Perhaps aim for a new one very soon - she will be MUCH happier in one of these
  4. OMG!! Neat!! Make sure you save some of your humour for Saturday night - but then again i doubt you could run dry of funny things to say
  5. Also check this link on good and bad cages ----> HERE I'm sorry but i don't mean to be rude, but that means absolutly nothing to me. Sorry about that Your budgie is a female (hen) The type of budgie you have is either a Double factor spangle or a Dark eyed clear Either way you have a white budgie who is not an albino
  6. You have a baby hen. Looks like a Double Factor Spangle or a Dark eyed clear, as i dont see red eyes. She is young so thats good, but she looks older than 6 weeks - more 8-10 weeks which would explain her behavior as she would have had time to get used to the space of an aviary She is lovely
  7. So funny
  8. Wow!! more accurate than i was expecting 6. CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Sexy; always ready to give and receive. Very creative, adventurous, ambitious, and passionate. You can appear to have a cold exterior but are warm on the inside. Not afraid to take chances. Will not settle for anything average in life. Love to laugh.
  9. Here are the top nine comments made by NBC sports commentators so far during the Olympics that they would like to take back: 1. Weightlifting commentator: "This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing." 2. Dressage commentator: "This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother." 3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father." 4. Boxing Analyst: "Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious." 5. Softball announcer: "If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again." 6. Basketball analyst: "He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces." 7. At the rowing medal ceremony: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew." 8. Soccer commentator: "Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field." 9. Tennis commentator: "One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them... Oh my God, what have I just said?"
  10. Poor boy! he's had a rough trot His beak is looking good considering. Well done to keep him free from infection I hope he makes a full recovery
  11. It's very VERY good for them. It is a form of entertainment, but most importantly the wood, bark and leaves contain vital nutritional elements that no other food can give. They should have access to fresh branches every day :hap:
  12. WOW!! Great recipe Brilliant photos too!!
  13. **Liv** replied to Neat's topic in Aviaries
Looking great Neat!! The aviary looks good too. :hap:
  14. I know some do keep them separate, but personally if his weight is good, then I'd put him back in the aviary to be a happy bird again. I think being in a small cage is very stressful for birds who normally live in an aviary.
  15. Not silly at all. I havent cabinet bred yet (soon though ) but in the past my birds rest in the aviary after breeding. After being cooped up in a cage I love to see them flying with the rest of the flock in the aviary.
  16. Both Genders need a rest The dad's loose just as much condition as the hens - more infact as they are the ones gathering all the food for the hen and the chicks.
  17. Poor boy How interesting. i didn't know that. So having popped does that mean it's fixed for now? Dose it also mean that he will get them recurring now too??
  18. To me the tip of his wing looks fine, bald, but fine. A feather cyst will grow like an ingrown hair and create a fast growing lump. You would be able to feel one along the wing. That is really bizarre! I can not think of what would have taken out all his feathers on one wing like that
  19. Oh my - thats all this primary flights They all look in pretty good nick too. Not like they have been caught in anything. - are they joined together or just sitting in a pile?? Do you think he pulled them out??
  20. Wow!! What a trooper!! I hope she keeps up the great work!
  21. Picture would be a help
  22. Out of those choices i would go with Lucy because she is not a dominant colour like grey and green You should get about 25% lacewing hens from a split cock 25% Split cocks 25% normal hens 25% normal Cocks
  23. Brilliant news! I hope she keeps improving
  24. MMMMMMMMmmmmmm that sounds delicious!!!!!
