How long have you had them?? Is your laundry like mine and FREEEEZING at night still?? If you are worried. Leave them outside for a couple of nights covered with a sheet - it will let the cold in but keep the droughts out. They should be okay because they have been in the cold during the day. Have a feel of their breast area and make sure they have a nice layer of fat.

Birds that are used to being outside will be fine outside - i always quarantine birds outside to stop them getting "soft".

that is the problem with colony breeding. That hen wanted the nest box so removed (ate) the eggs. It would be a great idea to get your breeding pair into their own cage to stop it happening again. I am not sure if that hen will always be an egg eater (it happens) but i think she was probably after the nest box rather than the eggs in this case.
