awww it doesn't sound good if its 8 days old and still the size of the day it hatched. Can you post photos of it please For now, keep it warm and when the crop empties see if you can get any food or water into it using a syringe (with no needle) and just touching a drop of fluid to the side of its beak - it should suck in the fluid on its own...
  2. Are you able to get a photo in natural light without the flash on please.

  4. Congratulations on your marriage She has dropped wings which can be 3 things 1) poor posture 2) stress 3) a sign of illness. It is not a sign of egg laying
  5. Easy program probably the easiest free one is photo bucket. it has a number of editing tools available  There are websites with tools that help make simple graphics and signatures too I Use Jasic paint shop pro 9 and Jasic Animation 3 - neither are free programs. Many use adobe Photoshop too - its the same as the Jasic one. Good Luck

  16. My aviary is due for its weekly clean out, but my pair of quails have laid 3 eggs on the floor during the week. What do it do? I would like to keep the eggs and see if they have babies. Do i just clean around the eggs or is it okay to move them?

  19. Thanks everyone. I am really excited about these two as well. She loves herself as you can see by her pose. He loves anything with a heart beat - he is the father of nearly all my budgies from summer. he is a real stud with the ladies I have not used her before, even though i have had her for about 2 years, so i am really hoping all goes well with her.
