  1. Neat came in all excited and ready to hear Merlin sing.
  2. He is an 07 bird, so this may be his first time, but she is an 05 hen, so I think she's probably had some practice. I was more partial to the blue series TCBs as I havent seen many, but I am becoming quite fond of the greens too. I was told the cock bird is a better colour also, which is a shame, cause I like the pretty green suffusion I always like the differences that are "unshow-worthy". Pictures of my blue pair of TCBs are here, Buddy and Holly http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=20932. She is a bit on the small side. I think I will have to be patient and put their offspring with bigger normals or if I can find a nice albino cock in the meantime, maybe to build size. He isnt a bad size and I think he is beautiful, but once again, having a yellow face makes him not suitable for showing. Oh well
  3. Great picture :hap: Welcome to the forum. Definitely a baby budgie - I really hope you can catch them and find them a home. Good luck! :hap:
  4. This is Griffin and this is Phoenix And thanks Norm - I'm pretty excited about my TCB's :hap: I have a blue pair that are in a cabinet, but dont have a nest box yet. That will be happening this weekend. My dream will be to breed a violet TCB - one day :hap:
  5. Well if sleeping burns more calories that watching tv, Im off to bed, and Im gonna sleep LOTS more!
  6. I bet amongst the admiration of what a lovely bird he is, there were some melted hearts too hehe
  7. Oh wow, thats fabulous. Thanks for that Kaz!! (Not that I am planning on doing this, I dont have indoor budgies cause my parrots chew their feet if they land on their cage........but who knows what will happen with me and "someone" who could possibly steal my heart haha)
  8. Boost Juice for Budgies! Thats cute lol (AND interesting!)
  9. I was just sitting here pondering.......I have a little pet budgie in a cage that I take to work and have near me and handle as much as possible as he will be going to a family soon as a tame pet budgie. What I was wondering is, if a show budgie was bred and tamed as a pet, and it developed and happened to grow into a ripper of a budgie, could you take it along to be shown? I couldnt think of why not,but I was just wondering what others might think
  10. That was so adorable, it made me giggle.
  11. I didnt post about putting Griffin and Phoenix down, cause I think I mentioned I was going to in another post. Well they have been in a breeding cabinet since the 27th which is only a week and they have 2 eggs Im getting a lot of "firsts" lately. They will be, of course, my first TCB pair.
  12. What a great job!! There are a few puppies there that I would love to take home You should try giving us some before and after shots FGM, then we can be even more impressed!
  13. They all look like girls to my inexperienced eye too
  14. Thanks for the advice. Yes they only had 3, but I think it is their first clutch. I had heard about the parents chasing chicks in cabinets, I will watch for that.
  15. I do!! And that will be yet another first for me - my first club rung babies! (Not to mention the "first" of putting them on lol)
  16. Sunnie replied to maesie's topic in Budgie Talk
That's great Maesie!! It will make your home so much nicer to be able to share it with your beloved feathered friends
  17. Thank you Maesie, me too. Sometimes single babies are some of the best
  18. Update: Well one egg was cracked about a week ago and I think Gracie tossed it, cause it went missing. One egg looks very dark, so I think it is DIS. The third egg I still have my fingers crossed for
  19. We now have babies My very first show pair It will be interesting to see their colours!
  20. Is the first hen a clearwing? She looks like a clearwing to me?
