Painting...
From my experience and as you well already maybe know budgies have a really poor sense of smell, i would wait till most of the smell is gone then relocare it back but move it to another room for the time being, the saying goes Best to be safe than sorry even if it may not do harm

Babies With Mites?
I noticed today when i brought out one of my baby budgies from the breeding box when it flapped it's wings about 5-6 feathers fell out and the younger baby is worse, is it the mother pruning/preening them too much? shes in there alot lately with the babies i brought a product today if anyone owns this product or has one similar how long does it take to take effect? i dont want grown dwellers or i would of just got some quails, i prayed the box the babies and the mother and father, his got a crusty cene i dont know if that could be due to the loss of feathers, it could be a number of things, they're about 5weeks old.

:( Mother Died
I'm feeding them about 6-8 times a day and using a hot water bottle to keep them hot that i change alot, I've never heard of a Hospital cage? im up all night, if i get heinz how thick or thin? should i make it? I'm trying my best, i hate to see things die how big should the crop be befor stoping each feed? http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb306/m.../Picture390.jpg Thats what i fed my other baby budgies but they were about 4-5 weeks old these atm now are about 4-5days old

:( Mother Died
She had a messy bold patch around her bottom but shes always had that bold patch, dont know, she looked very tired on my hand soft and relaxed looked egsausted not tense i mean fromn what i see she looked like she was really tired and just gave up on life and died, she was on her breeding box alot of the time and only came out once and awhile her last blutch she had befor trying for this one she only had 1 babyi had tears, feels like it was my fault i hate animals dying and today one of the baby budgies died it was only 2-3 days old it was from that blue mother so theres only 1 left, im giving it Yogurt Natural Pauls with acidophilus which is ment to be good for the body... if this is doing harm then please tell me soon im going to be feed them probably befor i go to bed If you are breeding in an aviary you will get birds of all ages breeding...some too young and some too old. Its by removing the nestboxes and controlling the breeding in breeder cabinets that you will reduce chances of a hen too old breeding. Also easier for you to check on their health and progress. There would have been signs the hen was sick before she died, maybe even a couple of days before. Its really important to be checking the budgies bottoms for signs of illness and their bodyweight by catching them and feeling them. I dont get your "angry at green budgies thing" ....to say green budgies are sex mad isn't right and it is up to you to control your breeding program and not blame a "sex mad" green budgie for allowing an old hen to breed. If too old she should not have been in an aviary with nestboxes and cocks.I never knew how old she was i was just guessing i got her from a pet shop almost a year ago, and shes always eben alittle floppy and dazzy please dont make me feel bad i was hoping for some soupport and kinda words because i suffer from anxiety so i feel twice as bad when something dies around me, anyways thanks kaz...

:( Mother Died
This will sound so uneducated but last day or so the female blue hen has been getting rid of her babies so im looking after them atm, then today i found her flying but ended up landing on the floor so i picked her up she didn't peck me normally like most aviary birds that don't get touched much do, well i put her back in the box and then a few hours later i check up on her and she died like this http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb306/m.../Picture376.jpg , i got told she was eggbound maybe, i feel like a complete idiot she was a very old bird but thats beside the point,i let something die because i wasn't educated about budgies enough for these situations to occur this gives me a hole new reason why i hate green budgies they're sex made and he makes me angry, but i guess thats nature I thought i;d let out my sadness on the forums because im a very emotional person that loves all animals great and small. I really hope she didn't die in pain

Haha yeah i guess so The other one got just alittle too bossy and dominant and bite me alot it takes after it's mother so maybe it wasn't made to be a pet i know time and patience would of worked its way around it but it's mother's behaviour will always be there (Laughing out loud) i like passive gentle birds
