It was an experiment I had 2 females and one male. Now I have one hatched and five more eggs to go. I give them a mineral block, vitamins in the water, oyster shells(they never touch) and cuttlebones. I use a premium food that has eggplant and fruit and vegtables and different seeds..Wondering if this is enough?? Hoping so, I don't want to spend too much time with this, hand feeding is not an entertaining idea for me, have a cat as well, always hanging off the cage...but anyways....I have built them a 3 and 1/2 foot long cage that is 2 feet high and 14 inches wide, it seems big enough. Wondering at what age can I give them away??? What problems I might encounter?? The chances of problems, not prepared to deal with splayed legs, jeez I hope they all will get enough food.....The breeding pair were very young probably around 10 months old, a blue regular and an all yellow special, wondering what I will get??
What should I expect here??? With all this could someone give me some advice and personal experience......Just hope she will raise them, though the male goes in the nest by himself at times too, just hope they grow and I can give them away, what does everybody think????
