okay as some may recall i rescued 2 bugies from going to the local humaine society there doing great they love there special k once a week i did get a even larger cage at the local superpet that was sold to pet smart it is 30x24x50 they love to drop to the floor and fly up to the top and do this again i have all 4 together it was touch and go for a day but they get along now our local breeder has 3 female budgies with eggs so i,m getting 2 more from her i just need to come up with 2 names before there born i decided on saphire and sky they will be hand fed and well socialized with kids here is her site if this is not allowed you can remove the site http://www.freewebs.com/crazy4birdsaviary/index.htm

:angel1: okay i rescued 2 budgies there doing great both playfully and vocally since friday they have gone through 2 cuttle bones is this normal

okay just to let you no i had to go buy a bigger cage for the 2 budgies i took in the cage they were in was like 12x14x16 the new cage is 23x16x26 the female one named polly who was giving love taps does sit on my finger as well as the male she loves to hang upside down and in the corner she loves to go around in a circle she is verry playfull but the male will not play at all he is the one that will come to me right away and sit on my finger not sure if this is not good with him not playing i read it is not good but i no you guys and gals will give me good advice as you have made me feel right at home

okay i just been keeping budgies for the last 2-3 weeks the 2 i rescued are great they sit on my finger and there names i found out are petey and phoabey petey sits on my finger no problem at all phoabey sits on and just gives you a verry light love tap the 2 young ones named star and millie is another story the first time i got millie she bit me between my thumb and finger and would not let go i held her beak lightly till she let go any sugestions on how to stop the biting and how do i train them properly

okay i have had my 2 budgies for like 1 week now at first i was supose to get 2 from a friend that got them from a person we both new this friend had a stroke on easter and he was supose to be transferred to rehab but that night he had another stroke that week he had 4 more strokes so i was going to get the budgies the one friend said his wife wanted them so i was okay with that now after getting a cage and 2 young budgies she did not want then no more as it turns out one is verry friendly the other one gies you pecks on your finger so now i have 4 budgies i could not even think of letting her give them to the humaine societythe one that pecks love to hang upside down will have to get a bigger cage for the 2 as the cage they are in is to small

hi all i just got 2 budgies this week.Ihave never had budgies before.I no nothing of training them at all and would love tips on that. Also tips on different foods for them what i can use for things to play with. Things to avoid i don,t no the sex of them yet as there to young yet star is white with grey on the back millie is a bright yellow with a tinge of blue on the belly and blue under the wings also what is your opinion on wing clipping. one question is that star looks like she is pulling on millies tail feather but i think it is prinning there constantly rubbing there beaks with each other i also have 3 guinea pigs and a wide assortment of fish i have a 15 gallon 2 20 gallons 2 5 gallons a 90 gallon a 240 gallon as well we have no bird club in our city
