Thanks Splat and RIP budgies. So if I wanted to put some size into my clearwings and still try to save the wing clarity is it better to pair with a good sized dilute?.

Hi , I have some blue cobolt clearwings and was wanting to find out , can you pair a cobolt hen clearwing to a Grey green /cobolt normal cock bird , Without spoiling the wings clear colour ,when it comes to the time I want to breed with the splits?. I hope that sounds right. Thank you.

How do you apply the polystyrene to the roof .Is it attached inside or can it be applied to the outside , on top of the aviary roof.I have heard of this being used on the outside of the aviary and wanted to know how it is done. As it does reduce the temperature.

Hi A question about sealing the aviary , To keep out pests from crawling underneath the gap . Can you seal the aviary were the concrete floor meets the color bond walls . Is there a sealant that is not harmful to the birds ? Or will it be okay to just have the aviary bolted down to the concrete slab. Thank You
  12. I like the Recessive pieds and the yellow face blues.

Hi I have a normal green Recessive pied male bird and would like to know what would be the best mate for him to improve in size an colour. He is a yellow bird with black markings on the wings and light green on his rump and chest.I would like to try and get some nice colours like him or something a bit different. I hope this makes sense. Thank you

Thanks Melbournebudgies I have the breeding cages up of the ground on a old desk on a veranda . The cages have a open latch door on each end to put a nesting box.The latch door sits about the same height as the feeder seed cups you put inside the cage. The Nest box sits just a little bit higher than the seed cups . Is that okay or should I cut an opening for the nest box a little higher than that. Thank you

Hi everyone Does the nesting box need to be positioned high in the breeding cage or can you have it lower in the cage. Do they prefer the nest box up high to breed? to feel safe. Thank you
