  1. Freebird is very pretty.
  2. He seems to be favouring his right foot. Has he always been like this? I presume he has all his toes (we can only see the front ones). As for breeding, physically he is probably okay, but it would depend on if he is able to get onto the hen's back and balance while doing the deed. Feathers
  3. [blushes like crazy] Ummm, well.. these have actually been in quarantine for a little while. I thought I'd wait for a little while before introducing them. I'll stop now.. really.. till at least christmas..... (My daughter is sitting here reading this and she went.. "Oh B.S.!")
  4. Thanks Riebe and Nerwen. I thought the same way. I was going to wait till after Kyan and Sora's first moult to see if the colour in them darkens any more.. they are leaning towards being violets.
  5. Kyan and Sora are darker than what shows in the pictures, so definitely not skyblue, and I thought Oh-oh was a dilute too.
  6. Hi guys, Here are another 3 budgies. What type are they? Kyan : Little King Oh-oh : Opps we got another budgie Sora : Songbird that Chirps (Kyan's sister - excuse the carrot face) Thanks in advance, Feathers.

Zee sure does, look at that chocolate cere! They are beautiful. Kaz, with that head shape and those throat spots I guessed he might be a show bird. He's lovely.

I'm in love with the one legged hen SLeepy head does look nice and fluffy in the first photo, but the second photo is just too cute for words, he must be very relaxed around you.
  11. They are all such lovely babies. I am not going to bother asking the question. I know what the very dissappointing answer will be I really love the shot with Mum in it.

I can't see why you couldn't give them frozen vegies, but fresh is so much better, for the budgies and us

I am fast heading that way.. I've even decided how I'd like my ideal aviary to be set up too, after looking at some on the net. [shakes head] how did I get into this Although, in the next year or two I will be moving from where I currently am, so I need to not go too overboard now. Looking forward to seeing pics of both yours and Bubble's avairies.
  19. Hi Kestral, Holly is a very lovely budgie... I am pleased that you weren't too put off budgies after Smudge died.

  21. hmm, whenever I see a budgie near a cat or a dog I am always reminded that aboriginals named them Budgerigar as it means "small thing, good to eat" Great pics, Bea

Rainbow, they are soo cute. Even Skittles has given up on it, what chance of success does that leave you with AT least mine go for it after Keely has shown them how to.

I read similar warnings to these just last night on a cockatiel site. I was trying to find it so that I could include the information here, but alas.... I can't find which site it was in. [edit] Found it and was in a bird rescue site: http://www.birdadoption.org/problem.htm
