3rd And Final Pair
HI, sounds like they are going great, but I would agree with Kaz, you need to be able to check if new chicks are being fed, so checking Milly's nest box is important. Some hens might get 'bitchy' about it, but most will get used to it eventually. I had to practically put a bomb under one of mine to let me check her eggs, but now she is good about it and usually goes out when I knock. Feathers.

Feather Town Breeding
We had the first baby today. Not from the next I expected though. The first egg was hatched to Jewel and Beau, who started laying 3 days after Jade and Bengey. Not sure quite what is going on as on candling Jade did have fertile eggs. Shall wait and see. I have started a new topic for Jewel and Beau's family... http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=15202 Feathers.

A Few Funny Pictures!
Oops, I haven't added the last 7 and I have some to pick up from my taxi driver... how did this happen?? I am going to be selling most of my pet sized budgies, Paul. There are some that I couldn't sell though, they will be staying put. Thanks, it is very rare that the photo is so amazing that it need to be larger than this board's limit and, although you and I have a very fast connection, there are still some people on dial up speeds of 64 to 112 baud rate, so to post such large photos on anywhere on the internet is bad net ettiquette, in my oppinion. Feathers. ps: you need to resize pics 1 & 3.. they are still too large

A Few Funny Pictures!
Hiya Marlon, any chance of resizing your photos before posting them. I can't be bothered to open and wait for links half the time. I figure if the poster can't be bothered to put them on the forum properly, I can't be bothered opening them. It's not a problem if it is a new user, but you know how to do it, pretty please! Feather Town Breeding
Yes, I am aware of using a grey. All I am after with this match is breeding stock, she will go another round with a large grey also. A lot of the pairs in the original post are not together at the moment or have been switched around. Feathers.

What Will I Get?
beautiful baby budgies.. I have a headache and won't even begin to work it out right now I've already opted out of a silly quiz tonight... You are probably confusing people with your dam and sire's as those terms don't relate to birds. For anyone confused dam is a hen and sire is a cock. Feathers.

Some Pics Of My Young Ones..
Lady, gorgeous birds. You have the same round hanging ring that I have and I notice that your birds love it as much as mine do too Lovely colours, you obviously prefer the blue series budgies. Feathers.

What To Do
Hi Budgielover, welcome to the BBC forum. I agree with Elly, you need to read through all of our FAQ's. There is so much fantastic information. There are categories listed on the left hand side of the screen that you can click on to learn about all aspects of caring for and ownng a budgie. Here is the link again: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/ Feathers.

Meg, I had forgotten all about that show. Someone mentioned it last week when I was at Kaz's place. I would have liked to have gone, but didn't know where and when. Pretty bird that you acquired. Feathers.

On Your Marks... Get Set....
I was e-talking to a club member on Friday and he said this.. For quite a few breeders, including myself, it is all about the birds, not the accolades. Feathers.

On Your Marks... Get Set....
Congratulations Daz, go the BBC breeders! I am quite certain that Kaz will be joining in with the successes next year. Waiting for your news, Macka Feathers. edit: it is quite a shame that WA's selections are being held on a Sunday as this puts out at least 3 breeders who won't be putting up their birds as they are christians and sunday is their day of worship.
