Finally It Happens
Indeed it is. I went to a friends house this weekend and my parents forgot to feed her!!!! She's sitting in my hand eating right now though she's okay. It's amazing how such a small animal makes those big messes EDIT: I was just getting food for her bowl (I've been feeding her out of my hand since 9 o'clock. She flew up into my room where I keep the food. I didn't even notice her then I hear this big THWAP sound...I look over and she's staring at my window like "what just happened?!!?" She's not hurt though...

Finally It Happens
Yeah, that'll be the best preasent so far I'm getting a lot bigger cage (Hovey's is rather small unfortunatley) and a blue budgie soon though right now she's hopping between my hands while I type it's soo funny! But she's only nice outside her cage...inside she thinks she's dominant I'm gonna keep working with her I'll post if anything really 'bondish' happens

Finally It Happens
Just about 10 minutes ago I got Hovey out for a training session. It was great! She sat on my arm without flying off (she's not clipped) for the whole 30 minutes and ate millet from my other hand for the last 5 minutes. I've had Hovey for almost half a year and all she did since then would bite and run away from me. It's seemed like forever but I finally got somewhere. She didn't even mind when I moved out into the living room and sat down to watch T.V. I'm gonna keep working with her. I'll keep you posted!

Missing Head Feathers?
I am posting this because recently, while I was letting my budgie walk around on my legs while I layed down, I noticed that some of the feathers on her head are missing. This worrys me because I only have one budgie...petstore bought and I heard that they are never as healthy as breeders budgies. I think that it could possibly be that she's just molting but I don't know how old she is... I can't post a picture because I don't have a digital camera, but if you can get anything from the description then please tell what what's wrong with my bird
