  1. She's just gorgeous - you're so lucky she chose your garden to visit! :hap:
  2. How gorgeous! I knew I did the right thing giving them to you! I used to let them out of the cage on weekends and at night when I was there to supervise so they're pretty strong flyers alright. I'll let go eventually (I promise) but when you keep posting such gorgeous pictures of them I can't help but get excited about 'my' babies :glare:

In the photo with the three birds, the aqua one is mum (Paris-Courtney) and the dark grey one is dad (Flash). Paris can be really beautiful when she wants to be, but most of the time she looks a bit skanky, hence the name!

Great names Bea! I can't take any credit for the breeding - when my two younger budgies finally decided they were meant for each other who was I to keep them from making beautiful babies

How very exciting Bea! I love that you've named all your aviary birds - I can tell my little ones are going to a fabulous new home

Hi everyone, I found this site last week and just love it! I *knew* there had to be other budgie nuts like me out there I've had budgies ever since I got my first pair for my 10th birthday (thanks mum and dad!) and have four crazy birds at the moment. Maverick is my gorgeous white male who like to think he's king of the budgie world, and he's around 7 years old. Charlie is his beautiful grey companion who just barely tolerates his nonsense, and I've had her for around 4 years. My other two are relatively new, and I've only had them for around 10 months or so following an unfortunate string of events. I bought each of them at different times to replace a 'buddy' for another bird that had lost their friend, but unfortunately the original birds didn't make it so I have two replacements - not that I love them any less! They both came from large averies so took some time to settle in. Paris-Courtney is a stunning bird (blue), with a lovely calm temperament and is one of the nicer females I've owned. Her partner is Flash, a hyperactive young grey male that still hasn't learnt that I'm his friend! But hopefully one day he'll learn from the others. I'm looking forward to sharing our budgie adventures with all of you
