We just got dumped with more snow but it was not as much as last weeks snowfall. Our city is still not out of the woods yet. The city is concerned with the possible risk of a serious ice jam on the river. Ice jams can cause a rapid and unpredictable increase in local water levels. The river is expected to crest around April 8 - 17th. Thanks, Here are some pics taken last year, This house is from our neighbourhood.

The river should be cresting sometime next week. They are saying that it might not be as bad in our city and surrounding areas, unlike it is bad in North Dakota. So far almost 200 homes have been flooded over there. Here are a few pictures of our snowfall yesterday. What greeted me at my front door My backyard Snow hanging from my roof

l love that spring is here but with winter now over it is flooding in my area where l live. l'm very worried now, it is pretty bad here now that we just got dumped with a ton of snow. l went out today and the snow that fell during these past two days, went up to my knees. This an article about the flooding situation http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2009/03/26/8891111-sun.html This is a picture that was in our local newspaper The caption that was under the picture; Elsie, one of the two Stensgard family dogs, sands on the earthen and sandbag dike surrounding the Stensgard home, not pictured, which overlooks a flooded outbuilding as the Red River continues to rise, Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Fargo, N.D. Due to the flooding, the Stensgard home can only be reached by boat.
