The parents are on eggs again. I have two half sisters........the mother of this one and another. The large blue cobalt boy I recently bought at auction is related to the sisters as well.

The grey is from a Clint Ault hen and a Gary Watson Cec Gearing cock. Got 2nd in UBC at the show. The mother of the blue chick is this one...... As a baby 8-12 weeks old ( J & F McLaughlan ) and after her first moult and still young I will get a picture of the dad...he is grey and doesnt look anything special but same bloodlines as his partner.

She is from one of Daz's hens Forced out of the nestbox by the growing THUNDRA

They are young......too young for breeding. Maybe 3 - 4 months old. Make sure they dont have any nestboxes in the aviary. Another 8 months to wait.

Keep perches LOW and cage covered...........no water containers or drinkers.

An hour and a half trip I wouldnt use a box either. The cage will be fine.

Bought three off Nubbly5......and also have some coming from QLD soon. One a Rob Lucas bird from the buy budgies.com site. That will do for awhile.

Nope.......he is just chilling out, looking gorgeous and hasnt had an bad day since I got him. Very healthy and a quiet boy.

Eldest two are spangles as seen by tailpins. Third chick has darker central tailpins.

Dad may look small compared to his son, but Dad is a decent size too :party0011:

UPDATE.......2 nearly 3 eggs in the nestbox and the first one in the foster nest.
