  1. Little tags come with plants bought at a nursery...not branches from the park or elsewhere
  2. Well done Matt ! Fingers crossed for them all especially the 12 worst ones.
  3. Hopefully once you medicate the losses will cease............I know when I had it in my aviaries years ago they went down like a ton of bricks...I caged them all up with warm lamps and coccivet in the water............I lost 35 before meds and none after the meds ... Best of luck Matt. I know a lot of breeders who will medicate with coccivet as a course of action when ANY water or damp gets into the aviaries.
  4. Warmth and Coccivet Matt ?
  5. Photo size is great mate...................so is the bird !!! Sometimes the photos dont seem the right size until we refresh our browser.

He's lovely isnt he ? Bear in mind quarantine isnt just a separate cage but at least 5 metres from any other birds and in another airspace.

BUT you still have aviary mesh down to ground level Renee allowing mice free access to your ground level food dishes. Time to sheet those aviaries up at least 2 ft maybe 3 ft

Hi KAZ , it's a small world we live in! A couple of the names you mentioned ring a bell, I have bought birds from Wilma before in the past, few years ago now. I have known Wilma for years as I went to school with one of her daughters and used to hang out at their house in my early teens and younger. My brother still lives in Geraldton and dad did to till he passed away 2 yrs ago....we still have to sell Dads house on Brand Hwy.
  12. As an incentive to juniors we ( over here in W.A.) give free membership to juniors.

Hi Rich I grew up in Geraldton. Also a good number of our club members for Metropolitan Budgerigar Club and Southwest Budgerigar Club come from Geraldton too.............Chris Huck, Norm Wheatley, Mike and Deb Gearing and Wilma Bunter...they travel all the way to perth and Mandurah for club meetings. Look forward to seeing your budgies too.........
  17. He's so good at that Renee, you had better give him a cake cookbook, chef's get-up and watch what happens.......I can imagine him icing the cakes
  18. We have several members in one of our budgie clubs that travel about 400 kms every meeting to be there....some travel even further.....another 100kms to go to our other club meetings ( 500 kms each way ) so I guess it gets down to how important it is to you. Sometimes you can tee up to share travel.
  19. Gold rings were issued on Sept 1st too so they can be anywhere between 2 months and younger........they are babies. Most show breeders dont sell this young.
  20. No fertility in this nest
  21. Greywings also are an off white...not white and not grey, just a slightly dirtier white
