  7. Just reported to RSPCA NSW website, under "Report a Cruelty" -- is that the right place to go? Did you also tell them that we will put them out of business by word of mouth or else.... oops, that would be blackmail. You just did :fear I told them we have power to not use their stores based on this kind of cr*p and told them to check us out as far as how much budgie power we have here .......they will look
  8. Her school friends started it, She even uses the a form of it as her ebay name
  9. Dont touch the eggs. Read how I described hoiw to candle with a torch....a torch behind the egg pointing forward to where you look is how to do it. Sounds like fertile eggs to me. again.........do not touch or move the eggs
  10. My eldest daughter is also known as nat the rat ( full nickname is NAT THE RAT, THE DING DONG BAT )

  12. Happens to me all the time. I usually find it has slipped off somewhere i left it....................off a sideboard, off the side of the lounge, covered by a piece of paper or something, left in the birdroom, kicked under the couch, outisde due to checking the letterbox or something on the way in the house.
  13. Good move and also try RSPCA.............they would be interested in them dyeing budgies too. ******I have submitted a complaint also to Pets Paradise Head Office.****** Go here http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/pets-...tion#reviewsTab you can write a review about this shop
  14. At this stage you would be having hatchings either right now or any day soon. You can tell by colour difference fertile egg on the left and non fertile egg on the right. See the difference in colour ? You can candle eggs but since they are due to hatch if fetile I wouldnt be touching them now. You can get the hen out of the nest for awhile and shine a bright torch behind each egg pointing forward to where you are looking from ( dont touch or shift the eggs by hand ). If nearly due you will see most of the egg or around two thirds of the egg looking dar inside and around one third being an air bubble sort of. eggs take 18-21 days from the moment the hen sat continuously to keep them warm
  15. great.............BUT as photobucket has an edit feature AND a way to upload them to the size for this forum which is 480 by 640.............. you must remember to edit to size BEFORE posting so we staff dont have to turn your pictures into links

You look cool and gorgeous Tell your partner that unless we see a picture showing him looking gorgeous ....we think he's pretty goofy looking :budgiedance: ( we know he's not, but we need PROOF )
  18. What were the other budgies being housed in ? Can you get the original aviary or cages ?
  19. Cage needs to be wider rather than taller. Taller narrower cages are for finches and canaries.
  20. read how to post pictures.........Link in my signature. You cannot upload from your pc. You must use a host like photobucket. Your picture did not work due to this budgie cages need to be wider not taller. Taller cages are for finches and canaries. Certainly not big enough for budgies and a tiel as you pmed me about
  21. I dont bother with fruit anymore............except for grated apple through some soft food.
  22. Its a heavily marked recessive pied..............no more and no less :budgiedance:
  23. Welcome Isabella :budgiedance: You will have to clip the other wing on the budgies...one wing isnt the right way to do it.
  24. A lot of budgies dont go for fruit as much as vegies. Try grated carrot, sweetcorn and finesliced spinach or bok choy to start. Srinkle seed over the top.
