Lacewing Chick
i also got the memory of a notice in our club budgie chatter the next time i read it stating very clearly NO BIRDS IN OR BEYOND KITCHEN i took fred to feed last meeting he wasn't very welcomed by all funny how no one told me he wasnt able to be in their untill after he was feed and put back in his show cage also the drive to my sisters we stopped at a park for tea where fred sat on picnic table and ate hot chips with us he even tried the flake he sat on the dash the whole way to preston looking out enjoying the drive his bath times were also very cute she would be all freaky looking and ugly then wash blow dry and wallah one so fluffy cute chick just her running through the house into random rooms looking for me or my daughter will be missed sounds very much like he left his mark, and also left little footprints on your heart. He was meant to be, even for a short while

Advice Please!
A good idea too is to find any people near you with birds who may have some meds to "loan" you in an emergency.

Unwell Hen.....
I think it may have been mentioned before..........but we often advise about worming here and a lot of our overseas members wonder why we advocate worming a bird. It seems not to be advised overseas like we are here. It is a job so easily forgotten to unless we mark it on the calender. Time my birds were done again too

Avian Vet In Brisbane
One way to find out http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=21279 find the vet nearest you and phone. All vets I know have an answering machine or answering service stating their emergency hours or vets emergency number. At least it will be peace of mind if you phone tonight and get your answer ready for whatever tomorrow brings. Good luck.

Baby Budgie In Bird Shop
As Maesie says member Libby http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index.php?showuser=3634 would help you with hand tamed budgies. She has tiels but I am not sure if she is breeding them. I have friends who breed ringnecks but the season is now finished for ringnecks and their handraised babies are gone to new homes.

My New Cat Morticia.
Did you mean siamese Maes ? They can whinge a lot ! The kitten has currently got used to be called TISHY. Ken says we are calling her TISH Nar... Burmese. A friend has them and although they are no where near as wingie as Siamese, they still talk... But I live alone so I suppose it would give me someone to talk to Tish... Love it. Easy to call and tell off! So Burmese are "talkers" too huh Siamese are a pain when they have something to grizzle about. Khan is the worst.........he thinks anytime we walk in the house with shopping bags we have food just for him.........he will carry on like a pork chop

Chicks Being Attack By Parents
Pull the nestbox off. Put any nestbox chicks into a tub on the floor of the cage and make seed the nesting material in the tub with the chicks. Remove the mother to another place out of earshot of the dad. He will finish the raising of the chicks especially if he cant hear her call. Dont give her a nestbox....once she has to lay off the perch she will stop after an egg or two.
