Expanda Foam
I agree..........I only leave a night light on in the birdroom, or the light from a hospital cage, anything like a 40 watt globe will tend to make my birds stay awake all night too.....and keep the neighbours awake too.

Expanda Foam
INCORRECT My birdroom always has a radio and light on and if mice are around that certainly doesnt stop them.

Singles Thread
I know some lovely single ladies who are in budgie clubs. There's scope for romance everywhere you look really if you have an open mind.

Good advice Jeff. The birds do go through a bit at auctions, leading up to the auctions and afterwards.....more so when they have to fly interstate too

Expanda Foam
I'm guessing it didn't kill them  but did it make them sick? I have expanda foamed the entire aviary/birdroom (a very dodgy job) but i'm going to put a ceiling and insulation in so birds can't get at the steel wool and expanda foam. I'm really hoping no mice get in If birds can chew it I am guessing a determined mouse can too :hooray:

When we talk about SPANGLES as Raelene is ..........its about the wing markings mostly. Here is a great photo of two babies I once had and shows the difference between a NORMAL marked budgie and a SPANGLE marked budgie the normal is on the left and the spangle on the right. If you think in terms of a photo negative taken of the budgie on the left and that photo negative is the markings of the spangle on the right
