Big Cage
i would have to agree on how it really depends on the bird because some birds stay tame others dont after they have stayed with other non tame birds

Hen Tried To Kill Mate
definatly dont put him back in there or chances are the hen will attempt to kill him again...and i reckon the hen should be able to care for herself and the little ones without a male in there.

Could Someone Help Me With This Budgie Type?
hi everyone, i have bred this budgie myself and have always wondered what type of budgie it is because to me it seems like a more unique colour and im not 100% positive about budgie types yet so i was hoping someone here could give me a hand. the bird has a sky blue belly and white wings with light grey markings on it and the tip of the tail and tips of the wings are white also in the photo the eyes seem to be abit red but they are actually pure black http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z4/lozz...hoto/Budgie.jpg thanks for any help you can give me Moderator’s Message to user Image changed to a link due to size. All posted images should be within 450x450 pixels. Thanks!

Just A Update On My Budgies
hi everyone! Is been ages since i last posted on here...months actually so i finally got the time to come back and tell you guys about my budgies and about whats been going on! okay well i have now joined my local budgie breeding club and i have entered in the show earlier this year and i ended up getting good results! i only entered 6 birds..just to begin with you know and i got 1 3rd place...1 2nd place and 3 1st place and i also got a trophy for the grand champion at the show! so i think i did well for my first time. With my breeding i have been breeding many budgies for months now but not lately because its really hot here now...well anyway one of the birds i have bred myself is on my display picture at the moment...i think i have bred about 20 budgies so far and it has been a wonderful experience for me...seeing all those cute ittle babies and meeting many other people who breed and show their budgies too of course. I have also sold some of my budgies to people around my local area...which i sell quite cheap compared to pet shop prices (pet shops over here sell for a max of $20 each while i normally sell for between $12-$15) Of course not all of my breeding experiences have been good...babies have died and some adults also but life goes on and at least their little babies who did survive will grow up and live good lives I also would like to say :rip: to all my budgies who past on but expecially to my show bird Hulk who was a lovely bird and there are not many other birds in the world who could replace him so except for the deaths budgie breeding and showing has been a wonderful experience for me and it was really cool to see all those little cute babies after they had hatched i don't have much more to say so talk to you guys later and good luck with all your breeding/showing and other budgie stuff! 0 yeah also if you want to please vote in my poll about "Why Did You Start Breeding Budgies"

Introducing New Budge To Aviary
Budgies are way more protective around breeding season and they may attack a new bird who enters the avairy. Just a question is the new bird a baby or an adult?

Just A Few Questions
okay, my male has white, black and blue on his wings and my female has yellow and black on the wings. Also my male has a white face. Do you think that budgies could breed in a cooler place in my pool area under cover, because alot of wind blows up there all day? Thanks for the Rosa Bourke help :D

Just A Few Questions
About a week ago i noticed afew changes to my breeding pair of budgies, they eat green vegatables all the time, they are going into the nesting box, the male is chewing on the perches and trying to mount the female does this mean i will have :nest: eggs soon? Also if they lay what colour babies will they have? The male is coloured like this :bluebudgie: and the female is a rainbow budgie with green and blue on the chest with a yellow head and back. Do budgies, Rosa bourkes or Cockatiels have a breeding season or do they breed all year round?

Budgies, Cockatiels And Rosa Bourkes Together
Thanks for the welcome Lin, Do you think it would work if i kept an eye on the budgies so i can move them into my other avairy if they are too mean to the cockatiels or rosa bourkes?

Budgies, Cockatiels And Rosa Bourkes Together
On the weekend i bought a new bird Aviary, it is fairly big and i was wondering if i could put Budgies, Cockatiels and Rosa Bourkes together in the same aviary? Also does anyone know a price i would expect to pay for a pair of Rosa Bourkes and is $66 dollars a good price for a pair in a pet shop?
