Cheeky

hi guys, just back from the vet - its not good news. The vet noticed his tummy is really swollen and thinks he may have a tumour. He has been kept in the vets probably over the weekend to do some tests. I just can't stop crying - it was so horrible having to leave him. I'll try and let you know what his test results are.

that is sooo cute!! I love that wee furry thing but i'm sure if i got it for cheeky he wouldn't go anywhere near it! sorry i missed the post above - poor wee miggy hope he's okay!

aw thanks ill let you know -his appointment is at 3 so i should be back about 4.30. yes he is a wee old man thats what i'm worried about. oh well fingers crossed!!

Thanks. I'm really worried about giving him more antibiotics as he has just finished a 3 week course for diarrhea. i suppose i'll just need to see what the vet says. thanks again.

Hi guys, i'm sorry to be posting on this board again! Cheeky seems to be having a bit of trouble breathing. When i listen to his chest i can hear a clicking noise and he gets really puffed out when he flies. He is still really chirpy, eating and drinking normally and still runs about with his toys. I've got an appointment with the vet this afternoon but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be wrong?? Thanks again! ali

Good Luck Bea! Cheeky was like that a few days ago but it was either the end of his infection or the antibiotics. let us know how you get on?

It is NOT to be used with antibiotics but can be used immediately following antibiotic treatment. Hiya, why can you not use probiotics with antibiotics? I was told by the vet to give Cheeky both at the same time. Hope sunny boy is doing okay now! thanks ali

aw really poor wee shadow! yeah we gave him probiotic stuff while he was taking the antibiotics. he actually seems to be a bit better now so i don't know whats going on with him!! hope shadow gets better soon. :hugs:

Hiya, Cheeky has not been very well and has been on antibiotics and probiotics for 3 weeks (his poops were very wet and the white bit was runny) anyway, now he has finished his antibiotics and today we noticed his poops have gone really dark - a brown/black colour when wet. Do you think this could be due to his medicine or do you think he could be bleeding internally?? :hap: He seems very happy and chirpy. ali
