Over Reguritation
where they have to forge and look for their food like they do in the wild under food and nutrition there is the post but you may have to do a search if you can't find it I think I have it bookmarked and will look it up. I think what he needs is stimulation and work his mind. How much flight time does he get a day or week? I have a sole bird Pretty for 9 months and Merlin coming up on 12 months so I do know what it is like to keep them active. .

Pretty stopped talking when I got Merlin. Now that Pretty is gone Merlin is talking. You may want to try some enrichment things too and food forging to keep his mind busy. Is he regurg on you or a toy? If a toy what type.

I believe you can tell but I am not sure exactly how. I would assume the skin would be pink and the feathers white vs in the darker area the skin would be darker. My response will bump this topic back up for other who know better can answer.

Violet Has Turned Aggressive
Sounds like right now she is going through a "teenage" stage and you said she is around 3 months old so she is probably going to start molting and is hormonal. Her behavior is very normal. Merlin did this too me and he is completely tames. He would go after my fingers and hands and bite them. It will pass when he did it to me I said no and took him off my hands. Pretty would swoop me very much like her to get my attention, just let me know he was there or to be stinky. I think this stage will pass in a couple weeks. Tweety and the runt may have been bossed around by Violet. Being that case that is probably he wouldn't go by you because he could have been scared too and the runt probably was not strong enough to with stand her behavior or could be sick. Has the runt perked up since Violet has been removed? It is very common for talking birds to stop talking when they are around their own kind. Pretty stopped talking when I got Merlin. I know there is one member Una that all her keets talk but it is rare. I am sure others will come in with good advice too. I hope this helps this is my perspective on what could be happening.

You have been given excellent advice. I can tell you trying to get a flighted bird by you before they are tamed (and even when they are) when they are out is very difficult. It comes to be a chase game and the only one that wins is the bird on top of your curtain rods. I suggest that you do a wing clip (that is my opinion of course) this will help you tame him in and out of his cage. Wings clips as my avian vet said give the bird an "attitude adjustment" (Laughing out loud) or have them settle down and of course become dependent on you. I wrote up my personal experience in the training section the article is Taming your Budgie. I talk about how I tamed Pretty who was very difficult to train in the beginning along with Merlin who was much easier. Know it can take months but getting control of your bird outside of the cage is a must. There are debates about wing clipping I believe it is an individual choice. Know that once I clipped the first time I didn't do it again I just let them become flighted again once they were tamed down. Pretty would get very "stinky" once his flights grew back in but he trusted me more then when he first arrived at my house at 4 months and not tamed at all. I hope that helps :hap:.
