I just love your birds.....this picture is amazing...certain an awesome submiission for budgie of the month .

It is just nice to get away, I would love to visit your country....

I would keep them in separate room that is much better if you can't then have the side covered that is facing the other birds there are airborne disease as well.

not that either lol...we live in Ohio it is pretty much hills and flat land, we have Lake Erie by us. Most people that come here come for the camping adventures and different amusement parks (they are about 2 hours from us). You want mountains you want Nevada, Montana, Wyoming...gorgeous states.

to answer the question about grey, grey is dominant over the blue gene so when you but grey and blue together the babies will be grey. only in the green gene will you get a bird that is a grey green mix.

I agree I would love to see how clear it's cap gets if it does.

The parasite and fish fact is very interesting, gross as it is it does amaze me how nature works and how these aniimals know just want to do it really makes you think WOW. I enjoy watching the Discovery or the Animal Planet just to watch the amazing phenomonans.

I agree with the above statements, Merlin does the same thing that is why it is important for others to understand that the recommended cage size by pet stores is too small because if given a larger cage they will fly around up and down and across. Merlin always bites on my ears, hair, shirt etc...it is a form of preening to them. If they had another budgie they would be preening them but they have you so they do it to us .

I don't think anyone wants to visit where I live LOL it is not as exciting as some of our beach areas and such

Vicky, I love your pictures and not only because they are so cute they remind me of Pretty and Merlin together when he was alive. You take wonderful pics and your birds are so photogentic.

I know Bea would make up her mixes in ice cube trays and thaw them that is okay, but just putting in lettuce to freeze would get wet and soggy and probably not pleasant for them to eat.

Grey is an added factor when you are putting them with green birds so you would actually get Grey Greens Grey is dominant over the blue coloring so any blue based bird would be Grey

they are lovely, I love greys too one of my personal favorites, just adding to ensure you do 30 day quarantine you may know this already but I always tell people just in case they don't a lot of people don't .

So I called our 2nd health provider for some medical bills and she says what type of bird to you have, I tell her and she says oh I used to breed birds...so we get into this huge conversation about American & English types and Merlin. She said she used to bred Englishs but not anymore she doesn't have the time anymore but she is said she is disappointed that she can't find them anymore and she loves them. Then I proceeded to tell her about this place, the wonderful friends from all over the country and their aviaries and the varieties you have in both types lol...someone that didn't think I was crazy for knowing too much. Had to share .

, I haven't heard of too many budgies not liking millet there are some casese it amazes me my 2 LOVE it too.
