The vitamins do make the sides slimey, where is the article? Can you PM to me. I do put Vitamins in the water personally because Merlin drinks his water and bathes in it but I do change it everyday because the sides do get slimey and I wash it out completely.

I agree with the statement above, I used to be envious of some of the members and their tame birds but Merlin came around wonderfully, every bird tames at a different rate and it is due to their personality plus what type of up bringing they had in their first few weeks of life.
