hello

i have a young green and yellow lovely budgie called pimms. however, im trying to get him trying other food other than his millet and his normal seed in the bowl. ive tried apple, biscuit, grapes, pepper, cucumber, carrot and loads of others but he wont go near them.

Try peas corn and carrot and silverbeet. I have never had a budgie that won't eat these.

I agree with Splat...also vary the way you serve it. Fine sliced and grated works and sprinkle over top some budgie seed.

I agree with the others....you could also try to make sure you feed it at the "main" feeding times.....eg: first thing in the morning or late afternoon, I find mine eat heaps more at these times...
