Posted January 6, 200916 yr It has been a while since we had a post to show off your other pets, lets work on dogs this week :glare:. Then we can do cats and others another week. We can do past and present so if you had a dog that passed away please we want to remember with you. I know there is a post already out there but there are new members, new dogs, new photo's etc... so I wanted to start a new thread. Here is my handsome Brandy (yes a boy with a girl name) He was a stray and we found him when he was 4 months old he lived to be 18yrs old, he passed way in 2007. Here is beautiful Niketa who was take so suddenly, we got her when she was 9wks old and she just passed away in Nov from a liver tumor, she was 14yr old and loved being free and running. Now we have.... Cabela, who lived in a puppymill for the first 5 yrs of his life, we adopted him from a minature pinscher rescue 2 years ago. He is my snuggle boy, loves to bury himself in the covers and has really come a long way. Recently, new addition to our family is Sonny, he was owner surrendered to a high kill shelter, they were going to put him to sleep the day he was brought in because the shelter didn't have any room and there is no holding since his owners brought him in, a GSD rescue pulled him and we adopted him from them. He is an amazing boy, he is just about 10 months old. Here is a picture with Sonny and my daughter And you may ask how does a little dog and a huge dog play? Here is a picture they love to play together.
January 6, 200916 yr These are my pups... Izzy (2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier) and Samson (4 month old male Chocolate Lab).... :glare: :glare: Here's Izzy as a pup when we first got her. Here's Izzy now.. so pretty! Here's Samson when we first brought him home. Here he is last month. Here's the two of them doing what they do best!!!

Josephine(Josie) is a Basset Hound and we waited for many months for her from a breeder at the start of last year, she was born on mothers day Josie cost 60X as much as Sasch but we love them both ust the same Here's Josie as a pup And Sasch as a pup with our old dog Beau Edited January 6, 200916 yr by melbournebudgies
January 6, 200916 yr This is MAX our golden labrador. We bought him as a pup about 8 years ago when our daughter needed an operation. He loves to go camping and four wheel driving and is a big sucker for water!! As you can see his coat is wet. It was very hard to find a photo of him dry!!!!
January 6, 200916 yr Mac and Tess are Cairn Terriers, like Toto in the wizard of Oz. They have aged over the years, turning 7 this year. Here they are, back when Mac was blond and Tess was a puppy. Mac - Then Now Tess They both got big haircuts yesterday, so updated pics to come soon Edited January 6, 200916 yr by Dave_McMinn
January 6, 200916 yr First there's Oskar who sadly passed away suddenly in 2008. He was a very fit and playful 4 year old Weimaraner. He had just earnt his Endurance Title, and finished looking like he could do it all again! Then there's our Toy Poodle Molly who loves fine fashion and feels very insecure if she doesn't have clothes on! What a little princess she is! For a poodle, Molly can't swim well - without a life jacket, her butt sinks and she panicks! And last but not least, Chachi is the only dog we've had that didn't cost us an arm and a leg - in fact he cost us nothing! He's a gorgeous Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to the RSPCA after having three toes cut off by a lawnmower, then kindly fostered until we got him. He runs with my husband, but has to wear very expensive running shoes to protect his injured paw. He is incredibly affectionate and we love that he's a part of our family! Thankyou to all those who have posted their cute pooches, they all look so loved!

January 7, 200916 yr I have one dog called ruby (female). I got her for a birthday present 11 years ago. Here she is. She barks at anything that walks past the front fence so we have not had a robbery YET. She is the smartest dog I've ever seen, she can open doors, fetch, sit, ly down, handshake etc etc. I do not know what I would do without her.

January 7, 200916 yr As I said in my post, Mac and Tess went and got clipped for summer, so here they are, the now short, wiry-haired cairn terriers you all know and love..Mac and Tess Very different when compared to the picture below. I like them long haired but it is too hot in summer
January 7, 200916 yr ummm, they missed a spot on their face. :bliss: I bet they will be a lot more comfortable during summer now! We don't have that issue with Bullies, we have to use sunburn cream instead. Edited January 7, 200916 yr by Hills
