Posted February 22, 201312 yr hi all havent been on in ages and i was wondering what are the correct breeding temps as in min and max thanks
February 22, 201312 yr Hi The normal temp test is the, Overcoat Test... If you need an overcoat to keep warm as you attend to your birds then it's to cold for breeding....There are other tests for calculating the correct temp, but I don't think they are any more accurate.....B.J.
February 23, 201312 yr I have often wondered about breeding temps to. I have not found any info but going by personal experience my birds always have best breeding results in spring/early summer (Melbourne) and the worst in winter. Edited February 23, 201312 yr by rachelm
