Posted July 20, 201014 yr I am looking forward to the babies coming out of nests this breeding season. I am using a lot of the better youngsters I bred who are old enough. I have filled around 30 breeding cabinets and all the rest of the birds in the aviaries are jumping out of their skins for their chance to breed too. I am trying to make the new corner units for my breeding room and another vertical bank as well which will add the last 12 breeding cabinets to the birdroom and leave it complete. I will do a revolving topic here and add photos of the breeding pairs as I get them organised. PAIR ONE Dommie pied hen bred by Carl Alder and Green Cock bred by Rob Dunstan ( cocks father Gazzard bred bird..and this cock was selected for the nationals ) Hen was about to lay her eggs as you can see by her posture cock EGGS.........two PAIR TWO Omelette cock eggs three PAIR THREE GREYWING TO GREYWING.........a pairing from before that yielded a very good result six eggs PAIR FOUR dilute dom pied hen and greywing green cock ( second round ) currently on six eggs more to follow....
