On Saturday night they will be having fireworks, should I be worried about the noise when they go off at 8pm? I don't live far from the show grounds where the show is held. I don't wont my birds going crazy in the aviary and hurting them selfs. Thanks Geoff Link to comment

My cavalier Cricket throws herself at the back door in panic over fireworks. Maybe if you have a suitable sized tarp you could throw it over the aviary and see if it helps. Fireworks near the budgies at the nationals is not a good idea ....is it Edited May 27, 2010 by KAZ Link to comment

Good idea. I know it won't stop the sound, but may make it a little less stressful if they can see better!?!? Good luck! Link to comment

The birds handled it very well with not even a murmur coming from the aviary which really surprised me considering all the huge bangs Thanks for all the advice. Link to comment
