I came home from work on Monday to find my Hen that the Vet said had worms with a very dirty vent and tail again...

I removed her again from the avairy to a seperate cage, these are the photos of her poop taken this morning....

She is eating/drinking.....not that active....but not fluffed up.

Where do I go from here?

* Should I worm again?

* Should I give a course of antibiotics?

The below is the previous link to the post prior to taking her to the vet a few weeks ago...

Any advice please??

This paper has been in the cage since Monday, I will discentfect and clean today...

Is that in one day?

What do you have her on?

Did you go to an AVIAN vet? That is important.

No Elly, that is since Monday.....

I have taken her to the Vet, they said it was worms which she has been treated for - she was okay for a few weeks and now it's happening again........

Did she go into the aviary with others when she was well...? She may have got worms again from someone in there, did you treat all your birds for worms...?

Another thing you may want to give your aviary or cage a good clean, walls washed down, floors, etc... The one that all your birds are kept in...

Hope she gets better soon... :P

Green excrements with yellow urine portions refer to a substantial disturbances of the internal organs. If the liver is damaged, the organism excretes biles what leads to the discolouration of excrement and urine. In case you notice such droppings you should go and see your vet. Liver problems for example can be caused by bacteria or viruses, most illnesses are curable.
